How We Help

Hope Weavers provides phase-based, faith-grounded care, inspired by the story of the paralyzed man and those who carried him.

Each phase reflects a deliberate movement of love, responsibility, and hospitality—ensuring no family is left alone in crisis.

Phase 1 - Watchtower

Just as the friends first recognized the man’s condition, the Watchtower phase exists to notice and respond.

Through schools, colleagues, churches, and community partners, educators in crisis are identified and referred—often before they can ask for help themselves.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” — Proverbs 31:8

Phase 2 - SOS Intake

Trained team members make compassionate first contact, offering presence. Families are met with listening, care, and respect. We gather essential information and stabilize next steps—never rushing, always honoring the weight they carry.

Phase 3 - CERT Assessment

The Care Evaluation & Response Team (CERT) prayerfully and thoughtfully assesses each situation to determine:

  • Level of need

  • Scope of care

  • Appropriate next phases

Every family receives an individualized plan, shaped by wisdom, discernment, and stewardship.

“Plans succeed with counsel.” — Proverbs 20:18

Phase 4 - Bridgebuilders

Like the friends who removed the roof, Bridgebuilders step in to remove practical obstacles that stand in the way of healing.

Team members respond to needs by providing families with:

  •   Meals, transportation, and lodging

  •   Financial coordination and resources

  •    Household and family support

Phase 5 - MAT Team Wraparound

The MAT Team surrounds families with holistic care that addresses:

  •   Emotional and psychological strain

  •   Physical recovery and wellness

  •   Spiritual strength and encouragement

  •   Rebuilding supportive community

Phase 6 - Navigators

As stability returns, Navigators walk with families into what comes next:

  •   Returning to work or redefining capacity

  •   Re-establishing rhythms and purpose

  •   Reconnecting to community and calling

Many who once lay on the mat eventually become those who carry others—continuing the legacy.
